MantisBTs simplicity wins over Jiras complexity any day. Efficiency is subjective to each users needs!

While MantisBT does seem like a robust bug tracking tool, I can’t help but wonder how it fares in comparison to other popular tools like Jira or Bugzilla in terms of functionality and user-friendliness.

After Dreamhost trebled their charges to over £450 for a three-year contract, I needed to look elsewhere for a new hosting service, particularly for my email addresses. After looking at all the ‘big boys’, I came across Switchweb, which offered a yearly contract at a third of what I would have to pay. I must confess I had some concerns about moving to a small company I’d not heard of, but the transfer was a breeze, and within a couple of hours I had my email set up and my website transferred. Everything is working perfectly, and I can see no difference in the service. I had a welcome email from the owner and offers of help in setting things up, but their interface was so easy to navigate that I didn’t need any help. Nice to know, though, that it’s there if you need it.

If you are an individual or small business looking for very affordable web hosting, or even just an email provider, I would not hesitate to recommend Switchweb.

For an additional fee, Pete at Switchweb then converted it to be in a WordPress environment, and he gave us novices a tutorial on how to edit and add to the pages. He has been very helpful in answering promptly all our questions.

I'm super impressed with  the very rare level of support given when I bumped into a problem deploying an App, which was of my making. Pete offer to do it for me which he did and it was all up and running the next morning. Since then I've done a lot of modification of file and setting up emails etc and found Switchweb very easy to understand and navigate.
